Aaron Rodgers has been the undisputed leader of the Packers over the past decade, and now he’ll have the chance to cement his place as the best player to ever represent the franchise.

For the past few months, the All-Pro quarterback has been involved in negotiations on a new contract. With the market increasing for the most important position in football, it’s only logical that Rodgers receives a raise.

It’s already been a busy day for the Packers, which included shipping Brett Hundley to the Seahawks. Yet, the news of Rodgers’ new deal is obviously the biggest story in Wisconsin.

As for the terms of the contract, James Jones is reporting that Rodgers will receive over $100 million in guaranteed money and $33.5 million in new money over his four-year extension.

To be exact, it’s a four-year, $134 million extension with over $100 million guaranteed.

Get ready to celebrate, Green Bay fans. It looks like Rodgers will spend the rest of his career with the Packers.
