One of the best available free agents in the NFL all offseason in Eric Reid was finally signed by the Carolina Panthers recently and has suited up for Week 5’s matchup against the New York Giants.
Reid has given intelligent and insightful interviews this past week regarding his stance on his ongoing collusion case against NFL owners and his thoughts on Colin Kaepernick’s movement against social injustices, which Reid has been involved with since Day 1.
Reporters also asked if Reid would continue kneeling, in which he responded with his actions early Sunday.

Though it appears none of his other teammates knelt with him, Reid is continuing to voice the message of his former 49ers teammate and will expectedly do so moving forward.

The NFL’s initial rule this offseason issuing punishment against players who knelt was challenged by the NFLPA and suspended without any conclusive decisions.
