It’s no secret that Todd Gurley is the most talented running back in the NFL.
In just three complete seasons, the young Los Angeles Ram has excited fans with countless highlights and big-time production as a pro running back. Before that, he was dominating the collegiate scene.
This season, Gurley has continued his attack on the league each and every week with no end in sight. However, the star put out a tweet that suggested we should pay more attention to another running back: James White.

There’s really no arguing with that, folks.
The New England Patriots’ running back is an ultra useful player and has been for a while in Foxborough. Mainly a receiving back, White has recorded over 400 yards through the air each season since 2015 and has racked up 16 passing touchdowns since then. He’s also got over 500 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns on the ground during that span.
However, Gurley, along with others, may have noticed that White has taken the next step this season.
At his current pace, the running back could match his season highs in passing yards, rushing yards, and total touchdowns around the middle of the year this season. He currently holds 271 yards through the air and 4 touchdowns to go along with them. Additionally, he has 110 yards on the ground in a split backfield.

The New England back has been on fire since the end of last season and has 9 TD’s in his last 8 games. Gurley was right. This guy is unstoppable right now.
White is the real deal and Gurley just reaffirmed that.
