With teams putting the finishing touches on their preseason, several bubble players are making their final arguments to be on a 53-man roster for the upcoming season. And although Kyle Sloter won’t be playing for the Vikings in their season opener, the 24-year-old quarterback threw a perfect pass to Brandon Zylstra to give Minnesota the lead.

Plays like this will certainly strengthen Sloter’s case to get the backup gig over Trevor Siemian.
This entire preseason has been fantastic for Sloter, who used to play for the Denver Broncos. His production won’t match the very expensive Kirk Cousins, but his versatility is extremely intriguing for a secondary option.
